Esta investigación va encaminada a cartografiar y determinar el estado de conservación de las unidades de paisaje de carácter local, para el sitio urbano de Cojimar, ubicado (en el municipio Habana del Este) en la parte norte oriental de la provincia Ciudad de La Habana, así como realizar un análisis de los principales focos contaminantes que afectan al área de estudio. La investigación toma como base el trabajo de campo y además la aplicación de los novedosos SIG (Sistemas de Información Geográfica); debido a la baja complejidad geolo-geomorfológica, de la vegetación y los suelos, se obtuvo como resultado solo tres unidades de primer orden y 20 unidades de segundo orden; por otra parte se determinaron siete unidades de paisaje urbano. Se realizó una breve caracterización de las unidades de paisajes, así como de los focos contaminantes que afectan a las mismas.

ASTRACT
This investigation has the objective to cartographic and determines the conservational status of the landscape units of local character, for the Cojimar urban site (located in the municipality Habana del Este) in the province Ciudad de La Habana, and also make an analysis of the principals contaminant focus in the area of study. The investigation takes as base the field work and as an important tool the application of the GIS (Geographic Information Systems); due to the low geolo-geomorphological complexity, of the vegetation and the soils, we obtained as result just three units of first order and twenty of second order; as other result were determines seven units of urban landscape. We make a general characterization of all the units described, and also about the contaminant focus affecting those units.
