Iedereen die meer wil weten over moderne muziek geschiedenis zou dit scherpe boekje moeten lezen. Het is een tijdsdocument uit de jaren 50 van de vorige eeuw maar op vele punten nog niet achterhaald, en het stemt zeker tot nadenken.
