Antropoloog Jeroen Windmeijer (1969) debuteerde in 2015 succesvol met "Het Petrusmysterie", een thriller waarin Romeinse en Bijbelse geschiedenis verweven worden met de geschiedenis van zijn woonplaats Leiden. Zijn werk is naar verschillende talen vertaald.
